Best Engineering Schools on the Globe – Ranked!

Interesting Engineering just released their rankings for the top 50 universities for engineering around the world.

  1. University of Oxford
    Its engineering college also scored the top engineering school in The Time’s Higher Education Ranking for 2018. The college researches all major branches of engineering plus emergent fields like biomedical engineering, energy and the environment.
  2. University of Cambridge
    The engineering department is the university’s largest. The university website says the department is one of the “few truly integrated departments in the world”.
  3. Stanford University
    The California institute offers exceptional education to nearly 4,000 engineering students, with opportunities for ground breaking research in dozens of labs.
  4. Massachusetts Institute of Technology
    MIT says they breed engineering students that have an obsession for learning, and “like, (alright, love) late nights in the lab, whiteboard sessions in the dorm and problems set over pizza.”
  5. California Institute of Technology
    Cal tech says their mission is to “expand human knowledge and benefit society through research integrated with education.” The elite Pasadena, California school is home to around 400 engineering students.

Rounding out the rest of the top 10, were Harvard University, Princeton University, Yale University, Imperial College London and ETH Zurich – Swiss Federal Institute of Technology
